The Scenery City Hotel

I'm on the 6th floor at The Scenery on soi 11. The room is roomy, with a king-size bed, a safe in the cupboard, a small bar fridge, and a hot water jug. The balcony is tiny. The shower leaks at the front and is small if you operate it for more than 2/5. Rates are very reasonable, and there's laundry across the road and a restaurant within 20 meters. It's also near 7&11 and a chemist.

I was here for four days on a golf trip. The location is excellent, and there are a few laundry places nearby, charging 60THB per kg, plus two 7/11 locations. The balcony is handy for smokers. There weren't many local Thai restaurants close by, though plenty of Western and Indian places. My room on the north side was quiet, but my friend complained about nighttime noise in his room facing soi honey. The room was acceptably clean, and they cleaned it every day. Staff gave helpful information, though they weren't especially friendly. It had an E-pot and a hair dryer that didn't blow hot air, as well as small soap and shampoo.

Maw at the front desk was a huge help in so many ways, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location and has very nice rooms with balconies. I'll be back.

There's a 711 on the corner, and the location is perfect. The rooms are beautiful, modern, and the best value I could find. I love staying here and will definitely come back. Across the street on the Second Road side of Hemingways, there's a small Thai restaurant where I ate lunch almost every day. Maw runs the front desk and is very sweet and kind. I don't know the facilities manager's name, but he's really nice too. They were always so kind to me, so sometimes I'd bring them lunch from the restaurant.
