Trio Gems Condo Beach

The location worked well, close to everything I needed, and my unit was just as advertised. My host was great. I booked through AirBNB, and the complex itself was average. The gym had no air-conditioning, and the spa was green and yucky. Hard to give a clear verdict.

It's good value for the Jomtien Beach area, and the beach is only around 250-300 meters away. I'm renting here, not an owner, and I've been here for a year. The place was brand new when I arrived, though some units were still being finished. I'm moving soon. For the price, it's good around here, but not if you want to use the pool: they don't maintain the filtration or chlorination properly. Parking in the garage is also getting difficult at times as more units have been sold.

Trio Gems is a budget-friendly condo project near the beach on Jomtien 2nd Road. Its 315 units are spread across three low-rise, eight-storey buildings named Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby. Sizes range from 29.70-square-meter studios to 51.50-square-meter corner one-bedroom apartments. The site covers 2.5 Rai, or 4,000 square meters. Jomtien Beach is under a six-minute walk along Soi 16, while Sukhumvit Road is about a two-minute drive away. The developer, locally based Thai-owned and managed Sea View Co.,Ltd, delivered good fixtures and amenities for a project aimed at buyers with more limited budgets. Its other completed projects include Beach 7 Condominium, finished in 2015, a housing estate near Soi Wat Boom, and a commercial townhouse project. Trio Gems was completed in Qtr.1, 2017. Shared facilities include a large ground-floor pool with concrete sun loungers and an air-conditioned gym in Building A (Emerald). Between the buildings there are an outdoor gym with aerobics equipment and weights, a children's playground, and an outdoor jacuzzi. Each building has its own lobby and post boxes, and there's an on-site management office, tropical gardens, covered parking, and 24-hour security with CCTV and key-card access. Each of the three buildings has two high-speed passenger elevators.
