V City Garden Tower Apartment

We came to view condos for rent, but the tour put us off City Garden altogether. The woman from the office who showed us the rooms was extremely unfriendly and rude, and spent the whole time on her phone. She barely spoke to us and didn’t want to answer questions. I’m Chinese-American and my girlfriend is Thai. We’re both friendly and speak English and Thai, so I can’t see any reason for such bad manners. At the end, she went straight back to the office without even saying goodbye, leaving us in the lobby. No worries, we won’t look at any more properties with City Garden in the name.

The building was clean and well maintained, and I’d definitely stay here again. It’s an upscale, very secure condo complex, conveniently within walking distance of both Pattaya’s infamous Walking Street and Beach Rd. When I didn’t feel like heading out, the on-site restaurant had decent food at good prices, and there was also a massage shop. There’s a pool table and exercise room, plus wifi that worked just about everywhere. Highly recommended.

This is a brand new condo in Pattaya City, with lots of fully furnished apartments for rent or sale, from studios to one- and two-bedroom units. It’s about five minutes from the city centre. Facilities include a swimming pool, sauna, gym, coffee shop, and parking. Highly recommended!

I rented apartment 1112 on AIRBNB from Danielle and Nicolas. I checked in on Wednesday the 30th and spent maybe an hour there while waiting for a taxi to visit family in Bangkok. I returned on Wednesday the 7th and found a bad roach problem. The woman who checked me in said they’d spray the next day, but then canceled and postponed it to the following day. I canceled the rest of my stay and found somewhere else. The apartment owner refused a refund, saying the building had been sprayed recently and that was why there were roaches. Look at recent reviews. You’d be better off across the street at Arcadia Millennium Towers.
