Getting around is the main drawback here. In the heat, the walk to 7/11 or Tops, around 10 minutes, feels longer, and the beach is farther still. For exploring beyond the immediate area, you’ll need a taxi or to rent a bike or car. There’s no restaurant on-site, and the little store nearby has limited choices. Coin-operated laundry would be useful in a complex this size, but the nearest is down the street opposite 7/11. We found a great laundry service, Mr. Jeff’s laundry, a bit farther away. The condo and resort are pretty nice overall, even if they aren’t new. The pool area and lobbies look good, our room was as pictured and met expectations, and the staff were friendly.

The complex is quite far from central Pattaya, and there are lots of barking dogs nearby. You’ll need a baht bus or a rented bike to reach fruit markets, large supermarkets, massages, and other activities. For a quieter break, Jomtien beach is about a 10-minute walk and was quite empty when I was there. There are two small supermarkets nearby, seven eleven and family mart, along with a self-service laundry, ATM, and street food. The Venetian condominium is a new complex with beautiful grounds and a sauna, steam room, gym, large pool, and jacuzzi. The apartment kitchen is well equipped, with an oven and microwave, and the Wi-Fi is good.

People coming straight out of the sauna dripping with sweat and jumping into the pool, then repeating that over and over, is disgusting. I get wanting to cool off, but take a shower first! The pool itself is nice, though upkeep around it could be better. The security guards have been friendly in my experience, so I don’t get what the other reviewers are talking about.

I was ready to buy a place here, so I asked the juristic office about the rules, especially pets, and why the jacuzzi was out of order. Only after I asked several times did they reply, “I’m not a salesperson.” That changed my mind. I don’t want to live somewhere with that kind of customer service.
