The team were kind and did their best to help during our short stay, and the rooms were clean and in decent shape. Still, we soon realized Villa Navin wasn't suited to us. There’s no elevator, and our room was at the far end of the property, which meant a lot of walking. Someone in our group has mobility issues, so that was hard, and the internal pickup service didn't really solve it for us. Nearby construction was ongoing, and construction had also closed off the beach in front, which was disappointing. The location itself wasn't bad. This may work well for other guests, but it wasn't the right place for our needs.

We paid 1,000 THB, over 30 USD, for a room advertised as deluxe and close to the beach. In reality, it was on the opposite side of the property, with a balcony facing busy Jomtien 2nd road, so there was noise almost all night. Staff were rude and lazy, and didn't even explain where the building was in such a large area. There wasn't a chair, table, or room phone, so contacting reception meant using a mobile or Line App. The welcome towel was torn, the bed linen was a strange yellow, and the mattress was much shorter than the advertised extra-long bed. The scratched refrigerator was useless: the freezer was blocked by a huge mass of ice and smelled bad, as if it hadn't been defrosted or cleaned for months. The air conditioner barely worked and didn't cool the room. The bathroom drain was so poor that after a two-minute shower you were standing ankle-deep in water. After I complained about the furniture, staff brought a plastic table with holes and two scratched plastic chairs. For everything else, they just kept saying they couldn't do anything. Awful place. You can find somewhere much better for 400-500 THB.

The "superior double room" cost me 37 USD but was less than basic, dirt-cheap accommodation. There was no window that opened, chair, wardrobe, or drawers, just old furniture. The bathroom smelled of sewer all the time, and the same smell hung in the air on the so-called balcony, which was actually a ground-floor cage made of thick iron tubes. I didn't sleep at all, with noisy old air conditioners switching on and off all night, a large water pump beside my room, and a party with Thai music from nearby bungalows going until 4am. My own AC was off. The whole plot is a jumble of bungalows, low-rise rental buildings, cabanas and apartments, plus several noisy, dusty construction sites. There’s a huge restaurant with no people in it, a shared pool, trees, plants, big blue water tanks, building supplies and rubbish scattered around, and even a fenced slam area for construction workers and their families, surrounded by metal sheets. The buildings all need updating. Some renovations are underway, but the work looks really cheap. After more than 15 years in Thailand, this was my biggest waste of money for one night.

I stayed in pool villa #H5. Jomtien was much quieter than Pattaya, and I’d probably stay here again next visit. The patio had a table and chairs, there were power outlets on both sides of the bed, and the mattress and pillows were soft. It also had a hair dryer and mini bar, parking by the door, and the wifi seemed fine. A few things could be better: no flyscreens, no bathroom exhaust fan, just one bedside table, and only one light in the living area, which made reading at night hard.

We only planned to stay a few days, then changed our booking to two weeks. The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms clean and cozy, and the grounds are huge. You can call reception for a bike to take you to the entrance, and there's a nice waterpark too. We left with only good impressions. Great villa, absolutely recommend it.
