Wan DD Resort Kohlarn

The shower water wouldn’t drain properly and flooded the toilet area, so that got messy. Apart from that, the room was fine and the bed was comfy. We paid 31 Euros for a night, with a little extra to rent a bike, which seemed fair for a busy island. Breakfast the next morning was decent, and the internet and service were good. They picked us up at the start and dropped us at the ferry stop when we left. The location worked well, near the main drag and some island beaches, and there are nice views out the back. Decent place. I might stay again if I’m back.

Dogs are welcome, which was the best part for us, and the employees were genuinely friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night, but the rooms were clean and comfortable enough, and the mopeds were among the best maintained I’ve ridden on the island. The entrance floor could use some work since it’s in poor condition. We’d stay here again.

The overall place felt dirty. The bedding had a dusty smell, and the fridge was dirty and smelled bad. There were lots of mosquitoes outside the room. The staff were kind, and the air conditioner worked very well.

This island is a lovely, low-key escape from Pattaya, with easy access to food and drinks and a small, pleasant beach. We paid about $40usd a night for a room by the ocean. It was clean and pleasant, though pretty Spartan. A nice spot to relax, with helpful staff and owner, plus lots of cats to keep you entertained.
