The staff were so friendly. They even printed a map and explained the easiest routes to nearby sights and how long each trip would take. Breakfast was arranged the night we arrived, so we got seated without much waiting the next morning. There was plenty of tasty food, including seasonal fruit. The rooms are beautifully decorated and come in different sizes, with options for families; the building has two floors. From the balcony, we could see the river and the pool area. It really is a lovely place, and Home Ayutthaya will be my first choice when I return to Thailand.

There’s food, coffee, and beer available all day, which was great for a break in the afternoon before going back out to see Ayutthaya’s history. The hotel feels cozy during the day, a welcome thing when Ayuttaya gets so HOT around midday. It’s a little outside town, but the drive into town or to nearby attractions takes no more than 8 minutes. The rooms are modern and thoughtfully designed.

A fridge was the one thing that would have made our stay 200% perfect. In all my years staying at hotels and resorts in Thailand, though, I’ve never felt as welcome as I did here. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Just five rooms, right by a river on the edge of the city, and a great spot for couples. The staff were great, and the food was amazing and really cheap. Such a good place to stay.
