The grounds are huge, beautifully landscaped, and include a golf course. You need the many golf carts to get around, and an evening ride gives you a tour of the resort. The gardens looked immaculate, and the views were fantastic. My deluxe two-bedroom garden view room was spacious, with exceptionally comfortable beds. The room and ensuite were spotless and kept to a high standard, with daily cleaning and fresh, luxurious towels and bedding. There’s a restaurant serving European and Thai dishes, along with fresh juices. During the day, you can take cookery classes or visit the clean, peaceful spa. Kate gave me wonderful foot massages and was always smiling. The staff were courteous, worked hard, and were amazing throughout. When we had a problem with the safe, it was fixed quickly. I loved the stay, even though golf isn't my thing. A couple of things could make it better: mosquito screens on the balcony sliding doors would let us enjoy the night air, and water spray cooling tubes over the driving range canopy would help. All in all, one of the best hotels in Thailand.

We had a relaxing time at this beautiful resort. The pool was amazing, and you can take walks, ride a bike, or cycle around the lake. We'd come back, though a couple of things kept this from being a five-star stay. Our lake view room was partly blocked by the building, so about half the lake was hidden. People in the lobby could also look straight onto our balcony, which meant little privacy. The restaurant was average, the food wasn't that great, and they seemed understaffed.

My therapist, Tik, took the time to understand what I needed and adjusted the pressure and techniques just right. The treatment was outstanding, and I left deeply relaxed, refreshed, and feeling rebalanced. The care carried through the whole visit, from the thoughtful touches before and after the treatment to the calming scents and soft music. The place was clean, nicely designed, and peaceful, and I felt welcome and at ease as soon as I arrived. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional. I’d highly recommend it if you want to switch off and recharge. I’ll be back.

We really enjoyed our time at Khatathong, including the golf. Khun Nam deserves special thanks for organizing everything so well. Since she returned, the whole experience feels smoother and more professional. Samran also gave us great support during our stay. The Samui Warriors greatly appreciate the hospitality and organization and are happy to recommend the place. We’re looking forward to coming back with more time and less rush. Highly recommended!

I only stayed one day, but the area was so quiet and a great place to unwind. Phuket is a bit away, and there’s a waterfall and Budda statue nearby that you can easily reach by car. It works well if you play golf or just want to relax. For more seclusion, you can book a cottage-style room. They offer room service and buggy rides between the room and reception, as well as some free activities. I went to the spa and enjoyed a very relaxing massage. The reception staff’s English was limited, but my therapist spoke good English.
