Pranee Home

The rooms and hotel at Pranee Home Phang-nga were beautiful, clean, comfortable, and well maintained, but checkout left a bad impression. A front desk staff member complained and suggested water bottles were missing. We’d only used the water provided and returned the empty glass bottles as expected. Being treated with suspicion over something so trivial and unfounded felt petty and unprofessional, as if tourists are assumed to be taking things or owing extra money. Instead of feeling appreciated as guests, we felt like walking wallets. Lovely rooms couldn’t make up for that accusatory, disrespectful final interaction. One staff member ruined a place I otherwise could have recommended.

The receptionist was attentive and consistently kind. We had an amazing time at pranee home. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a nice view, with care given to the small details. Highly recommended.

We really liked this place. We arrived very late, when it was already dark, but the reception was fantastic and kind, and there was a cat! 🐱 The rooms were spacious and super clean. I was by myself, so mine felt huge, and the AC was nice. The location is convenient: food is available late, and a 7/11, noodle and rice shops, and a 24/7 laundromat are all within 1-2 minutes on foot. In the morning we tried chicken satay skewers right next to the hotel. I happened to see it was a Michelin restaurant after we’d finished. It was so good, definitely recommended! 💖 I’d stay here again. P.s. there are no windows, but that was fine for us 🙏 They still use old-school keys with a plastic tag, which was charming. We’d expected something really old, but it was just lovely.

The mountain view was lovely, and the hotel worked well as a simple base for our outings, including the cave and mangrove boat trip. A good location for touring.
