Huan Soontaree Resort

The vegetation is beautiful and well looked after, and the pool is good. Breakfast came to the room. It’s a very good hotel, a little off the beaten track, with clean, comfortable rooms and nice, helpful service. I recommend it. 👌🚴

Didn’t use any services. Basic, simple place and good value for money. The rooms are very clean, and the pool is really (!) clean too. Water pressure was a bit low.

The little oasis of tropical plants and fragrant flowers is a lovely setting, and the pool is good for a dip, with a fun slide. We waited ten minutes while it was cleaned, which showed they keep up the maintenance. Breakfast was great value after we pre-ordered it, and it was served on our balcony. The owners drove us to a local seafood restaurant for supper, then helped with our bags on the way to the ferry in the morning. We stayed one night before heading to Ao Prao, since going to the airport would have made the trip too rushed. Human Soontaree isn’t a five-star hotel, but it deserves full marks for what it offers. You could pick at details like the electric shower, no hot water in the sink, the pool size, or some quirky displays that look tired, but that would miss the point. The rooms are spacious, characterful, well equipped, and very clean, with good bed linen. Great value, and highly recommended.

The staff were wonderful and helpful, and the rooms were very clean. Nice pool and garden, too!
