Khao Sok Green Valley Resort

I can only comment on the restaurant. We stopped by one evening for drinks, two large beers, but were charged 500 Baht because they’d billed us for four. It took a lot of discussion to get the money back. Before we paid, we were told there’d be a BBQ the next day. We came back as promised, but there was no BBQ, so we ordered from the menu instead. I chose the vegetarian dish listed with “peanut sauce,” but it came with some clear, sweet stuff. After I complained, they added a little peanut powder, but it still wasn’t peanut sauce. Peanut sauce is made from peanuts, not something with a bit of peanut sprinkled on it. I was really upset because that was what I’d expected. If you don’t have peanut sauce, please don’t put it on the menu. The meal itself was okay, but I’m very disappointed about the sauce being promised and not provided. The staff are nice, though it’s hard to discuss things when their English is limited.

The owner was kind enough to send something we’d left in the room to us for free, days after we’d checked out. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Such a lovely place, with even lovelier staff. Thank you! 🥹❤️

The tours I booked with the resort were really good. I went rafting on Sok River with the owner’s daughter as our local guide, and the one-day lake tour was lovely too. Mr. Khaosok also showed me his farm and some other spots nearby. The resort was really nice and the staff were friendly. I’d happily recommend it if you’re visiting Khao Sok.

The owners and their family were very kind and took care of all our requests, including a later checkout and keeping our luggage overnight while we were away on a trip. The hotel is in a calmer area, but still quite central, with nice bars and restaurants no more than a 2-minute walk away. We’d stay here again anytime in Khao Sok.
