A 7-Eleven and self-service laundry are nearby, and the night market is walkable. The lobby has self-serve coffee, while parking for cars and bikes is limited, with only a little covered and open-air space. There is a hose close to the parking area, which comes in handy. The room was clean and had a fridge. You have to ask the Front Desk for a Hair Dryer. The Shampoo & Shower Gell had a nice smell and left a pleasant fragrance. Staff were friendly, smiling, and spoke English well.

We weren't staying at a luxury hotel, but the two ladies at the counter on the evening of Jan 17th gave us five-star service. They were so friendly and helpful, really going above and beyond.

There are plenty of food options just around the corner, or a short stroll takes you to the train night market. At 590 baht a night, it's cheap, and the room is huge. The bed and pillows were great, the air conditioning was ice cold, and the Wi-Fi was super fast. The location is just off the main street, though Phattalung isn't a busy town anyway. The place looks like it was renovated 5-6 years ago, so there's some wear and tear. It's a budget hotel with only the essentials and no other amenities. For breakfast, there's a famous porridge shop on the main road; try the shops behind the hotel too.

The girls were very accommodating when we arrived with our bicycles, and they spoke English really well. The rooms were large and very clean, and the markets and train station are close by. Good value too. So far, this has been the best hotel of our trip.
