We stayed one night while heading back to Bangkok. The hotel is right on the highway, and its concept is unique. The building has been repainted grey, so it’s no longer colourful. The room was average. It cost 550 baht a night for 2 adults, with children under 10 staying free.

The bungalows are clean and comfortable, and there are people who can speak English. Each room has free Wi-Fi, warm and cold shower water, a TV, a fridge, 2 free bottles of drinking water, air conditioning, and a king-size bed. It costs 450 THB per day.

We stopped on our last trip to Phetchabun because the resort looked interesting from outside. It’s very new, having opened 2-3 years ago, with dozens of cupola-like bungalows in different colours meant to remind you of Eskimo igloos. Inside, the rooms are practical and efficient, but the garden area still needs to be developed.

The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the overnight price is reasonable. A few kilometres north of Phetchabun city, this is a nice place with an igloo-style design that has its charm. I’d come back.
