The room itself is perfect for one or even two people, clean and nice. But the owner shuts the roll-up door at night, so if you want to explore the city, it's a hassle having to ask her to open and close it for you.

A friendly and helpful owner, and just a short walk to the beach and a nice restaurant. It's a small hotel with basic, compact rooms at decent prices.
The caretaker was nice when we arrived and again when we left. There was street parking in front, and the room was okay for 800 baht, with a water heater. The shower was overhead only and the pressure wasn't strong. A little after we left, they called to ask whether there were towels in the room. We said there hadn't been any the night before, only blankets. It was late, we had our own, and we didn't want to bother them. They snapped back, asking why we hadn't said anything, since they'd just gone downstairs and had 25 towels in stock but had only counted 23. They said they always check rooms at check-in. They asked where we were, and we said at the beach. Soon after, they rode over on a motorbike looking for the towels. We said they could check and showed them ours. Three of us had used just one the night before. Seriously, was this our fault for not calling about missing towels because we were trying to be considerate? They seemed to want picky, demanding customers. What would we even need towels for? Only then did we realize there had been no towels in the room at all. There was just one glass, and nobody asked if we needed a second. Then they came all the way to the beach asking what I wanted and whether I should pay for it. No thanks. At first I thought I'd stay again next time. That's changed. Once was more than enough, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
It felt more like visiting an older acquaintance's home than staying in a hotel, haha. The room was okay, with air conditioning, a TV, and hot water. The owner and his friends were really attentive, and even invited us to have a New Year's drink.
1. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning cooled the room well. 2. It's on the third floor, reached by stairs. 3. Dogs are allowed, but contact the owner beforehand. 4. Soap and shampoo are supplied in the bathroom, but they don't refill the toilet paper. 5. The windows are louvered and don't block sound, so road traffic is clearly audible.
