Natural Park Resort De Wangthong

We came on December 25-26, when the morning temperature was 20-21 degC. The cool air, waterfall sounds and lovely views made for a great atmosphere, even though the resort isn't far from the main city. The service team and owner gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast had lots of choices, especially the organic salad bar grown right at the resort. There were plenty of activities for kids too, including a clean, warm swimming pool, feeding cats, planting vegetables and collecting eggs from the chickens. We'd definitely come back with a bigger group. Highly recommend visiting!

The ducks following the staff around were such a lovely sight. The team seemed to really enjoy helping guests, which made the stay special. It's a beautiful little gem out in nature, with lovely food and a clean, comfortable room. I'd happily return and recommend it. 😀👌

We stayed midweek for one night and it was very quiet, with only a few other guests. The staff were kind and helpful. Our Nordic room was spacious, clean and modern. The food was delicious and fairly priced. The restaurant takes its last orders in the evening, though you can still get drinks there late at night. Breakfast didn't offer many choices. There’s a natural waterfall at the resort and a medium-sized pool, plus cats, a goose and a buffalo for guests to spend time with. A peaceful place to relax with family.

The restaurant and cafe have a lovely view over the river, and breakfast had plenty to choose from. You can sit by the water on the bridges and in the seating areas, though only a few chalets look out over the river itself. I was lucky to get one of the newer standard chalets shown in the photos. It was roomy, nicely fitted out and had a large shower. Some of the furniture felt flimsy, so I wonder how well it will hold up over the years. The AC was effective and fairly quiet. WiFi was unreliable in the rooms but decent around the restaurant.
