The bathroom looked new, and the off-road parking was great, but the rooms and shared spaces felt tired and tatty. Pizzas were advertised everywhere, yet none were available. We saw several customers come in and then leave, so the place seems to be missing out on income. It's a dump, and an expensive one compared with 2 star accommodation in the north and north east.

The receptionists were very kind and helpful, and the free parking was handy. There are lots of places to eat here and shops nearby. The train station is close too. My room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast had nice eggs, coffee and toast. It exceeded my expectations.

Friendly, helpful staff and a cozy restaurant and bar where you can watch the street life. My room was a little dated, but clean and quiet, with good WiFi and AC.

The clean room had a comfortable bed, and the location is great, near a good market. Staff were okay, but they don't speak English. Breakfast was unfortunately awful, with a very oily fried egg and lots of onions. The traffic right outside is so loud that sleeping without earplugs is impossible. I had earplugs, but if you don't, don't book. Bathroom water pressure was terrible, and I had to ask the staff to fix it every day. For the price it's decent enough, so I'd probably stay again.

This was my second stay, and I paid about 15 US dollars a night. At that price, I consider it five-star value: a decent, clean place with good service. The rooms are plain but clean, and mine had a balcony. The five-star reviews are relative, of course. This isn't the Ritz-Carlton.
