I slept badly on both nights because ants kept getting into the bed and biting me. There were quite a lot each night. Maybe the wooden construction has something to do with it, but I can't say for sure. I mentioned it at checkout. The staff apologized, and everyone there was kind, but there wasn't any offer beyond saying sorry, such as a voucher for a future stay. I feel bad giving just two stars, but I wouldn't have stayed if I'd known about this. The room was clean, apart from the ants getting inside and onto the bed, and the cleaning staff did a good job. They also had drinking water available. I picked a fan room since it was winter and thought that would be enough, but the ceiling fan was old and slow. From 10 to 4 the room got so hot it was too uncomfortable to go in.

The receptionist was friendly and professional, and the location was great. The price is really cheap compared with the other place. If you're trying to keep costs down, this spot is okay. The room had some drawbacks, though. The walls are old wood, so it gets really hot, and there's only a fan, no air conditioning. It was noisy and made sleeping with the airflow on me all night unpleasant. There were also a lot of other noises around, though maybe we were just unlucky for those two nights. I expected hot water at a hotel, but there wasn't any.

The pool areas were clean and felt so fresh to swim in, and the location was fab with good parking. It's an old place, but spotlessly clean, and the staff are lovely.

Getting around was easy because the hotel is close to the train station. I found the price good value and would recommend it. The wifi was very good, and the staff provided a small bottle of water in the room. There was also a refill station at reception, which was handy. My room was very clean and well maintained, with good ventilation even though it only had a fan. The bed was on the firm side, but comfortable enough for me.

For 300 BHT, I had a quiet room with air at the back, right in the center. Very clean and excellent value, though the bed was very firm.
