Austrian Garden Hotel Patong

Robert is a wonderful host. This restaurant made me feel at home in Germany, like my grandma was making Sunday dinner. Terrific place, 10/10*.

We only came for dinner, and had a great host and wait staff. The meals were nicely presented, and the Apple Strudel was the best.

The garden setting at Austrian Garden Restaurant was lush and relaxing, a nice place to take a break from the heat after a morning exploring. It was conveniently within walking distance of our hotel, and the atmosphere felt fresh and lively. We had tropical drinks, including a refreshing passionfruit juice, along with papaya salad and stuffed fried fish. The food was decent, but the flavours were mild and didn’t leave a lasting impression. We’d hoped for more punch, though we probably shouldn’t have expected authentic Thai food here. It’s a pleasant spot for a quick casual meal and a drink, but not where I’d go for a memorable Thai dining experience.

My boyfriend and I loved dining here and had some of our best meals at this spot. The Thai dishes are especially exquisite. Moe, our server, and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and attentive. Definitely recommend it!
