We've stayed at this villa almost every year since 2019, and our trip from 12/19 to 10/01 was great as usual. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They quickly sorted out any issues and were happy to help with personal requests, like picking up parcels. The villa has what you need for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen, dishes, grill, dishwasher, and more. The room is cleaned on request. The beach is no more than 2km away, but we had a car, so that wasn't a problem. It's a great place for a quiet family holiday, a little away from the crowded streets. We'll spend our next vacation there.

With five of us in the family, this villa worked perfectly. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The private pools are lovely, and the air conditioning works well, both welcome ways to escape the humidity. Staff are very friendly and clean the rooms on request. There's complimentary transport around the local area, and they can arrange taxis for longer journeys. We'd definitely recommend it!

We had a family emergency back home, but the landlord wouldn't refund any of our money. I even offered 50,000 baht for the two nights we'd stayed, so he could rent the villa to someone else afterward. The villa also feels very tired, and the air conditioning doesn't work well.

The smell from the street and neighboring buildings was terrible. The houses themselves were smoky, and I couldn't imagine staying there with children. The cost isn't justified at all.

The location worked really well for getting around quickly by scooter, while still being quiet. The property was exceptionally clean, and the staff were warm and incredibly friendly. The hotel manager was always ready to help, and meeting the owner in person was a lovely experience too. Both made us feel welcome right away. Everything was perfect for us, with nothing we think needs improving. We're already looking forward to coming back to By the Lake Villas Phuket!
