I was happy with my choice. The hotel is nice, very clean and peaceful, and I loved the comfortable, clean room. I'd give it four stars. The tradeoff is the location: it's a long way from the airport, about 40 minutes on average from most beaches, and there's no nightlife. Most bars nearby close around 10. If you're staying a while and can ride a motorbike on fast highways with lots of ups and downs, this could work for you, as it did for me. If you can't, don't bother. You may save more by staying near the airport.

The bus terminal is nearby, which made the location decent. We stayed in an inside room with AC. It had a fridge, electric kettle, cups, soap, towels, and a hair dryer. Wi-Fi was free and fast. The mattress was very firm, with no pillowtop, but I liked it. We barely dealt with the front desk, though she was helpful when we needed to make a local call. A clean, modern guesthouse.

The bus terminal is only a one-minute walk away, so getting around by bus is good. There's not much to explore in the nearby area, though. Fine for a night, but I'd choose somewhere else if I wanted to explore.

For the price, it's not bad, though the room is cramped. There was no elevator, and I had to haul heavy luggage up to the fourth floor. Lucky I was strong enough. Some people might be in trouble.

It could be a wonderful guest house if there weren't a thief there. Someone had clearly gone through my backpack on two different days, and more MONEY was stolen than the accommodation itself cost. The receptionist just said the manager would review the security camera recordings after I left. I never heard back about what they found.
