I had a lot of trouble with the air conditioning. It barely cooled the room and seemed to just blow air, so nights were unbearably hot and hard to breathe through. I only ran it at night, roughly 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., since I was away at my internship during the day. The highest monthly bill for electricity and air conditioning came to 2,786 baht, made up of 511 baht for electricity and 2,275 baht for AC. I asked the owner to check it because the amount seemed unusual. He said the total for the room, electricity, and water was 7,686 baht. I was also confused to be charged for air conditioning last month when I hadn't turned it on. The AC and electricity are billed separately, and although I can see the meter, I can't see the AC bill. The owner only explained that the power and AC charges were separate after I'd signed the contract. Before I moved out, I was charged another 300 baht for cleaning. There are some good points: it felt safe, had an elevator, and was close to a laundry and the top. Still, run away from those bills.

The location is the only thing I liked. The building looks fine from outside, but inside it's run down and poorly looked after. They don't clean or maintain things for new tenants. Pets are supposedly banned, but they keep animals there themselves, and the entrance smells strongly of cat pee and poop. They wouldn't let me view the room before I signed. Once I got the key, the room was filthy, despite their claim it had been cleaned. It felt like the housekeeper was there for the cats, not to clean the whole building. The toilet was cracked and the AC hadn't been cleaned. The electricity charges were outrageous. There's a meter on the stairs, and my usage on it was under 500 baht, but they said the Korean-made air conditioner would be billed separately using estimates from Bangkok. There was no way to check that amount, and the combined bill came to almost 3,000 baht. When I questioned it, they got annoyed and said, "We told you that from the beginning," though the contract said nothing about it. They even shouted and asked if I wanted to leave. I only lasted a month before moving out. It felt exploitative. If you're thinking of staying here, run away!
The owner was friendly and very nice. The room was clean, and for the price, it was really good value. The TV was huge too.
Clean, roomy place, though I did miss having a fridge and a chair.
Loved it! The rooms are new and clean, there are nice spots for photos, and the location is convenient.
