The pools and grounds are fantastic, the location is very good despite the hill, and the value for money is terrific. Breakfast is fine, but other food has always struck me as ordinary. The staff are friendly, though each time I visit there seem to be fewer of them. I've stayed here several times over the past 18 years. There always seemed to be unfinished bits, and our latest visit was after the resort reopened following a period mothballed. The price doesn't make up for the small staff numbers and ordinary food, which is a shame. The place is nice and I'd still say it's worth staying, but those things have dulled some of my earlier memories. I still have many good ones, and hope this feedback helps encourage better development in the future.

The hill up to the resort is worth keeping in mind when booking. We had a really enjoyable stay, with tidy rooms and nice staff who took care of what we needed. Great value for money.

Ms. Care took care of us during our stay at Horizon Spa and Resort, and I want to thank her and all the staff for their wonderful care. We were also surprised with special birthday decorations and a cake, complimentary, even though we hadn't asked. From arrival, the team greeted us warmly and check-in was easy. Our room had a lovely design, plenty of space, was spotless, and offered a stunning view. It was a relaxing place to come back to after exploring the island. The pool was peaceful and well maintained, and the spa massage was one of the most relaxing I've had. Breakfast had lots of fresh, tasty local and international choices. The service really made the stay memorable. Everyone was polite, attentive, and helpful with the small details. The resort is close to the beach, shops, and restaurants, but still quiet enough to unwind. The night market and shops were nearby too, which suited our needs, especially for food. The seafood was awesome and reasonably priced. We left Horizon Spa and Resort with lovely memories and will definitely return. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Phuket!

The place itself was neat and tidy, with spacious rooms, and the location is good for families, especially those with kids. But I wouldn't recommend it because of how some of the staff treated us. They kept interrupting breakfast to ask for signatures without clear instructions, and took plates away while we were still eating, so we couldn't enjoy the meal peacefully. It felt insensitive to how guests might feel. The resort charged for the children's breakfast but not the adults', which surprised us after travelling around the world. It also felt very commercial, with charges for everything. When we asked for help cutting mangoes, they quoted 50 Baht; when we asked for a knife to do it ourselves, they wouldn't provide one and said it had to stay in the kitchen. The stay itself was good, but the staff need training in how to treat and interact with customers.
