Hotel Baya Patong

The reception didn’t make the best first impression, but the rest of our stay was really pleasant. The room was simple and had what we needed, and the hotel was clean. For the price, the location and value were hard to beat. We enjoyed it and would stay again.

Losing $600 made this one of my worst holidays, and the hotel’s response left me feeling unsupported. I had kept the money in the same spot in my room on earlier days without a problem. It wasn’t in the safe, and on one occasion it went missing. I reported it to the staff right away. They told me nothing had been found and that anything discovered would have been left somewhere visible in the room. That didn’t feel like a serious or reassuring answer. I contacted the police, who came to the hotel, but the matter was still unresolved and no meaningful action followed. What bothers me most is the lack of accountability and a proper investigation after the loss. Guests should be able to expect basic security and support in this situation. I’d urge future guests to be very careful with valuables and use the safe every time. I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying here again. :(

I felt comfortable here and really enjoyed the stay. The room was great, and for the price it was a very good deal. Clean sheets and water were available every day. A few sheets were dirty sometimes, though they smelled good. I’d happily come back :)

I’ve had more than 1300 EUROS charged despite never booking or staying at this hotel. I contacted them several times to ask what was going on and to flag that their name seemed to be appearing in fraudulent transactions, but nobody replied. The charges have caused a lot of worry and inconvenience. The lack of any acknowledgment or investigation is deeply concerning. It seems the hotel may either not know about, or be unwilling to address, its name being used with charges made using unlawfully obtained credit card information. I’d caution others until the hotel shows that it takes this seriously.
