LetsPhuket Twin Sands Resort & Spa

The standout is the huge, lovely pool, and the hotel sits among several nice, though fairly wild, beaches. Reception stays open late, and there’s a paid shuttle into the city center at certain times. Still, for the price and star rating, I expected more. Our room was cleaned only when we asked. The towels were torn and weren’t replaced until we called reception. The shower gel ran out on day 3 of our 5-day stay and wasn’t refilled, and the cotton buds weren’t replenished either. The welcome kit was sparse, and the restaurants inside the hotel are very expensive.

The resort has three pool areas, a pool bar, gym, spa, and several restaurants, and our room was clean and had everything we needed. It was spacious enough, with a large bathroom, balcony, and small kitchen. The staff were exceptionally kind and made our three-night visit memorable. Getting around is the drawback. The resort is quite remote, and we had to walk uphill for about 10 minutes to reach the nearest 7-Eleven. There aren’t many good restaurants nearby either. On the plus side, a beautiful beach is just five minutes from the hotel.

They decorated our room for our wedding anniversary, which was so sweet of them. Thank you! The resort is clean and comfortable, and it’s a lovely place to rest and relax. There are several public pools as well as private ones, though the private pool is on a different level from the bedroom. It’s quiet because it’s quite far from town, with a convenience shop beside the resort. They also run a free shuttle bus into town. The place is also called Absolute Twin Sands Resort & Spa.

The pool and gym were great, and the restaurants were very good, though pricey. The staff were friendly and helpful too. It’s a little way from patong, so you can get away from the city noise and bustle. Free buses run to and from the city throughout the day, but the last one leaves at 9pm. A taxi from paying to the hotel costs around 200/300 baht.
