Nawaporn Place Guesthouse

A small, cozy hotel with welcoming staff, in a quiet spot near Old town and the bus station. There’s no elevator, but that was fine for me, and I liked the wooden stairs. The rooms aren’t especially modern, though they were clean and comfortable. The water heater and air conditioning both worked well. You can make tea or coffee at reception whenever you like. We’d happily stay here again whenever we’re back in the old town area. The room was spotless and the bed really comfortable. It’s on a quieter street, but getting into the centre of the old town is easy. Our hosts were incredibly hospitable and friendly; the woman brought us fresh fruit, and we could use the shared coffee machine throughout our stay.

It felt like coming home each day. We liked the place so much that we extended our stay more than once. The family were thoughtful and took wonderful care of us. The room was lovely and spacious, and everything about the stay felt just right. It’s in a peaceful area, with bars and shops in the old town still within walking distance. For me, this was the best place I’ve stayed in Thailand, and I’d highly recommend it for a comfortable, lovely visit. We’ll definitely return ❤️

The rooms were roomy and very clean, and the bus station is right next door. It’s only a 5-7 minute walk to the old city, but the area stays quiet at night. This family-run place made us feel at home. The owner was warm and helpful, assisted with our laundry, and kept giving us fruit and sweets. Such a cute owner and a great experience.
