P.S Hill Resort

Our Mountain View room was big and cleaned every day, and the staff were polite and helpful. The location has nice hill views. It's a bit far from patong walking streets, and you'll need Bolt or Grab to get to the beach.

The street can be a bit noisy, though the buildings at the back are quieter and muffle it well. The superior room is roomy at 42 m², with good air conditioning, and the pool is large and clean too. Good value for money.

I won't be coming back. The reception staff in particular were unprofessional and communication was poor. There was constant noise from large groups of French guests, and the pool evenings were noisy after 18:30 with nobody supervising. At night there was no security, and people could enter the hotel area, even on motorbikes. Hygiene was a serious problem: mosquitoes, gnats, ants, spiders, cockroaches, and even lizards on the walls. Breakfast was terrible, low quality, repetitive, and the same every day. I've stayed here before, but it gets worse every year, especially in high season. Almost all the negative reviews are posted in high season, from December to the end of February, when the hotel is full and guest experience is clearly ignored. Most of the positive reviews seem to come from low season. I've canceled all future bookings. Never coming back.

Lovely staff and a nice location. The rooms are beautiful, with a huge bed and AC, and housekeeping comes every morning, which is a big plus. Food is okay, but there's not much variety. The shower water doesn't get very warm, and the curtain isn't long enough. Patong Beach is a 20-minute walk.
