Perennial Resort

The garden grounds are spacious and lovely, with a beautiful pool, a little kids’ play area, swings and a slide, plus a tiny koi pond in the dining area. The pool was a perfect temperature even early in the morning, though some leftover rubbish and odds and ends hadn’t been cleared away overnight. Pool towels weren’t provided there, so you have to remember to bring the ones left in your room. The beach is fairly close but not walkable, and a ride there costs over 500 thb, which felt pricey. The place is nicely decorated in a European style, and the sheets were the nicest we’d had in Thailand, like standard American hotel sheets. There’s no lift, but staff carried our bags. We found flying bugs and sugar ants in the room, including ants between the bedsheets. The staff weren’t helpful about it, though we reported it in case that helps others. We stayed one night. It’s close to the airport, but we couldn’t arrange the free pickup for our last-minute stay because the person on the phone was hard to hear and the call kept cutting out. The taxi cost a lot for the distance. I’d have given more stars if they fixed the bug problem or had shown more care about that gross inconvenience. I’d love to stay again without the bugs. The food at the restaurant was pretty good. The picture is unrelated.

We stayed just one night before heading to the airport, and the free shuttle made the trip easy and stress-free. The pool was lovely, and the food was much better than I expected. The rooms were clean and cozy, with beautiful decor and lots of attention to detail throughout the hotel. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, and the service was outstanding. I’d highly recommend it and would absolutely come back.

The bungalow garden could use more care. There were lots of plants, but some looked neglected and the lawn was quite dry, especially compared with the lush greenery and flowers at resorts we’d stayed in during the previous two weeks in Thailand. It was a small issue and didn’t change our positive experience. Perennial Resort was comfortable, convenient for Phuket Airport, and good value for money. We chose it because of the location before an early flight to Bangkok and then back to Italy. The airport transfer was included and made everything easy. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we got a fresh, refreshing welcome drink. Our garden bungalow was spacious enough, well maintained, and had a little private porch to relax on. Sirinat National Park and an area with shops and restaurants were reachable in about a 20-minute walk, so we didn’t feel completely isolated. We’d definitely stay again.

We needed somewhere for one night after arriving on a late flight, before continuing into Phuket the next day. I emailed to request a pickup and got confirmation by email, then sent a WhatsApp after landing and received another reply, presumably from the owner. Our name was displayed just outside gates 2 and 3, and the owner picked us up. The family room was basic but very cozy, with a boutique feel. There were tea and coffee supplies in the room and water in the fridge. It was perfect for what we needed, with absolutely no issues. Keep up the good work 👏🏽
