The garden and kitchen were the best parts of the hostel. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, utensils, water, and more, and having one is rare. The receptionist was lovely too. There's a nearby laundry about a 5-7 minute walk away where you can dry your clothes after washing, since the washing machines here don't work. We stayed in January in the cheapest option, a fan room with no AC, and I found it a 2/5. It was tiny, had no window for fresh air, and the fan alone didn't help with the heat, even though we're used to staying in places without AC in Thailand. A double room with a private bathroom looked much nicer and opens straight onto a garden, though it may cost more.
