I couldn't get a proper night's sleep here. It was extremely loud, and the overall state of the hotel made resting impossible. The place is very dated and clearly needs major renovation. Cleanliness in the room was the worst part: sand covered the floor, there was a strong bad smell, the curtain was broken, and the toilet had such a deep urine odor that the bathroom was unbearable. Cockroaches and ants were coming from under the sink too, which is completely unacceptable. I told reception right away, and they seemed genuinely shocked. I also complained to Booking.com, but their attempts to help didn't work. The manager apologized the next day. She was polite and tried to find a solution, but there wasn't a real alternative. The only suggestion was another room with the same setup, four floors lower, which wouldn't solve the problem or restore my trust in the cleaning. I left for my own sanity and booked another hotel at my own expense. They told me a partial refund was impossible, which is hard to understand given the room and the stay. What shocked me most was how casually this seemed to be treated despite the extremely low standards. I truly don't think anyone should stay here until major improvements are made.

The rooms are clean and pleasant, and the location is excellent, right in the heart of Patong. We felt very comfortable, and the service was friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooftop pool was great. The downside is that the walls are thin and noise carries between rooms. Apart from that, it was a nice stay. I'd recommend it, and send my regards to the whole team! ♥️

I had a serious problem with my booking at Mirage Express Patong on January 28. When I arrived, the property wouldn't honor my confirmed reservation, saying it was full. They made no alternative arrangements, and I was left stranded overnight despite the stay promised by my booking.

I've stayed at this hotel before and always liked it, but after this experience I won't be coming back. My booking information clearly said early check-in was available from 11:00 AM, so I arrived around 11:30 AM and explained that to reception. One staff member kept refusing and said check-in was only allowed at 2:00 PM, adding that there was no point if everyone arrived early. As I tried to explain what the app had shown me, he got upset, raised his voice, and demanded respect. I was only trying to explain the early check-in information. His coworkers explained everything clearly while he was still upset and walking around. I cancelled my reservation and booked somewhere else. Thanks!

A nice little spot. The back of the hotel is quiet, while the front by bangla boxing stadium gets loud, with music from the seafood market.
