From outside, the hotel looked okay, and the lobby was fine. The lift shook, the hallway was dark, and it felt as if I might be the only guest there. The room was gloomy with very little light. Some staff didn’t speak much English, which made communication difficult. I’d already paid through a booking site and had the receipt, but the owner asked me to pay for the room and said the payment hadn’t gone through. A bad experience.

The entrance and lobby looked good, but the room smelled as though the doors had been shut for ages, and everything was dirty. There was mould all over the bathroom and minibar. The elevator didn’t feel very strong either. At least the air conditioning worked and the beds were okay. What else would you expect for 6 euros per person per night? 😮

The lobby is quite nice, but the floors looked so destroyed that I wondered where I’d ended up. The rooms were very worn, and the bathroom wasn’t nice either. Wi-Fi costs 50 baht a day, and the worker I dealt with wasn’t very friendly.

For the price, the bed is comfortable, the hot water works, and there’s Wi-Fi, though the signal is stable only on the sixth or fourth floor. The place is old and mouldy, and it stays hot until you’ve run the air conditioning for around six hours.
