Golden Sand Inn

I stayed with my family, and the price is very good. Breakfast is good, with a menu to choose from, and the hotel has a really nice green area. A big 7-Eleven is nearby with no queues, unlike the shops farther into Karon, and everything is within walking distance. The beach is right across the road. Most rooms seem to face the road, so it’s very noisy. The air conditioner blows straight onto the bed, making it uncomfortable to use. The place is a bit dirty in general, and the internet connection is extremely poor, sometimes unavailable altogether. Still, if you’re looking for one of Karon’s better price-to-quality hotels, I’d put it in the top ten.

The resort is well placed, close to town, and the pool was very relaxing. I booked two bungalows and one room. They were all a good size and well equipped, though the bungalow bathroom was a little small. The road right outside is very busy, but that can’t be helped. Breakfast was poor, and on my last day mine never arrived.

The pool is lovely and the location is great, right across the street from the beach with easy access to everywhere. The staff are great and very helpful. The rooms, though, are very outdated and need upgrading soon. This place has a lot of potential.

The grounds are beautiful, and the location is extremely convenient. The beach is across the road, with cafes, shops, 7/11, pharmacies, and more nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I’m grateful for their work. My room had everything I needed, everything worked, the bed was comfortable, and housekeeping came daily. Breakfast was always tasty, whether from the menu or the buffet.
