The room was clean, a decent size, and without frills, but we slept well. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are a small rooftop pool, saunas, and a pool table, and you can see the sea from the pool level. Location is the main advantage: around five minutes from Jungceylon and Central Shopping mall, close to Blanga Street nightlife, and about 10-15 minutes from Patong beach.

The location puts everything right outside the door, and the staff were excellent, friendly, and genuinely tried to help with requests. The shower bench was a useful touch. Still, compared with the 4-star hotels I've stayed at around Thailand, this feels more like a 3-star or generous 3.5-star place, closer to Novotel Bkk than a true 4-star experience. Some basics felt missing for that tier: there was no robe, slippers had to be requested, and the two small complimentary water bottles each day seemed meager, with extras costing more. Wi-Fi was frustrating, often lagging with ping over 200ms, and longer stays mean getting a new username and password every five days. The 2,000 THB deposit was cash-only; a card pre-authorization would be more convenient. The central party area is noisy, as you'd expect. Parking in Building A is very difficult because the maneuvering spaces are tight, with a high risk of damage like pulling off a bumper on a standard-sized vehicle. The safer option is to park and enter through Building B.

I was happy with what I got for the 55 euro a night I paid, and that's what my 5-star rating is based on. If I'd paid more, I wouldn't rate it five. The room was okay, with good, quiet air conditioning and very good shower pressure. There was no wardrobe or closet, so I had to live out of my suitcase. Everything was minimal. Housekeeping made up the room daily, but didn't really clean it: the same hair or dust particle stayed in the same spot throughout my stay. My room faced the road and was noisy, though it didn't bother me.

Good location, rooms, and staff. I just wish there were a family floor. During our stay, neighboring rooms had parties with outside guests until 3-4 AM every day. There was also quite a bit of noise and smoking in rooms despite the no-smoking notice. That was especially inappropriate for families with little kids.
