The Boathouse Phuket Hotel

We spent a perfect week in the penthouse suite at the quieter end of Kata, which suited us just right. The hotel has a relaxed feel and a lovely beachside setting. Inside, the suite was huge; the balcony was long and narrow, with enough room for a small seating area and a stunning view over the beach and sea. We could hear the waves gently breaking at night. We enjoyed the pool and its great views too. The pool staff looked after us well with complimentary water, towels, occasional fruit kebabs, bar service, and a small library. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of both Western and Thai options. A special thanks to the reception team, who were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The people at The Boathouse Phuket made this trip. We were there with young kids, and from the minute we arrived the whole team helped us feel at ease and welcome. Reception, concierge, and restaurant staff were warm, patient, and genuinely attentive. The setting and atmosphere were lovely too, and the service felt personal throughout. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would absolutely come back. Highly recommended.

The location and atmosphere at The Boathouse Phuket are both nice. I just expected more care and attention for what we paid. The service wasn't bad, but it could have been better. My stay was okay, with room for improvement.

The room and bed were comfortable, and everything was clean. Breakfast was pleasant too, with a good range of fresh, tasty choices each morning. What stood out most was the staff, who were consistently friendly, efficient, attentive, and ready to help. We'd recommend the hotel to anyone after a comfortable stay and good service.
