We got into our room three hours before check-in because it was already ready. Reception also offered luggage storage if we'd needed to wait, and the lobby is spacious and cool. The hotel's location is excellent for exploring Old Town Phuket. Our superior twin was large, with a fridge, flat screen TV, coffee making supplies, lots of storage and hanging space, and complimentary water. The bed linen and white fluffy towels were nice quality. There was plenty of bathroom space to lay out toiletries, plus complimentary shower gel, shampoo, a shower cap, ear buds and a hairdryer. The shower was hot, with enough pressure to wash my hair, even if it wasn't especially powerful. WiFi worked without any problems in the room or elsewhere in the hotel. Breakfast was included and served downstairs in the Breakfast Room, just off the foyer. It had tea and coffee, toast, juice, cereal and pancakes, along with hot choices like eggs, sausage, potatoes, fried rice, curry, noodles and steamed vegetables. The second floor pool was a lovely place to cool off in the morning before the sun heated up. There were a few sunbeds and a small bench area.

We spent our days out exploring and hardly used the hotel facilities, so this place suited us well. The room was decent for the price, and I'd recommend it if you just want somewhere comfortable to sleep without being too picky. Vapa Hotel is very convenient for walking to the Old Town, and the parking was a big plus since we had a car.

For about a third of the price, other hotels offer rooms and service that are very similar, so this one felt overpriced. The staff were friendly, but the AC wasn't good, the beds had a strange springy feel, and the fridge was tiny. Staff also started knocking on our door at 1PM for no clear reason. I wouldn't recommend it.

The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was satisfactory. The place is basic and could use an update. Rooms are noisy, with a lot of echo.

The service and breakfast were the highlights for me. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. There was a good range of fresh breakfast options. Vapa Hotel is well placed for getting to popular attractions, restaurants, and shops. My room was spacious and modern, with a comfortable bed and good cleanliness. I had a wonderful stay, felt it was good value, and would recommend it as a relaxing, convenient base.
