Atomphukethotel (sha Plus+)

The hotel is close to the airport, and Nai Yang Beach is about a 15-minute walk away. It’s a good location, though less convenient if you’re mainly coming for the beach. We stayed over Christmas and had a very good visit. I’d mentioned our third wedding anniversary in the booking’s special requests, without expecting anything, but the room had a cute “Happy Honeymoon!” decoration when we arrived. We also got a complimentary upgrade to a room overlooking the pool. Everything felt new and clean, and the staff were very friendly. There are lots of rules posted in the rooms and elevator. The complimentary breakfast is simple but nice. One thing I’d change: you have to ask reception for room cleaning and fresh towels, which I think could be handled routinely. I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

The rooms were new and clean, and the service was a 10 out of 10. It felt like more than a three-star hotel for the price. There’s a free airport shuttle at 8:30AM, 10:30PM, and 12:30AM. You need to book it before 10PM the night before, and the airport is around a 15-minute walk away. We really appreciated the complimentary morning snacks, available from 6AM to 11AM. There was a nice range, including milk, coffee, tea, watermelon, cookies, sticky rice, toast, cheese, and more. We’ll be back!

A handy place for travellers, with the kitchen, laundry, and transport easy to access. They run free airport shuttles every day. Beaches and a night market are nearby.

The room was very basic, as expected, but the shared facilities were quite nice and everything was very clean. The staff were friendly and spoke English well, which helped. There are washers and dryers, and doing laundry costs 100 tbh in total. I’d stay here again.
