We stayed here throughout our Phuket Patong vacation and had no problems. It feels cozy and distinctive, even without fancy amenities, and the price is good for what you get. There’s a small shared kitchen and laundry available on demand. A great budget place.

The location is handy for food, the 7/11, and plenty of halal places in the Muslim area. The street itself is noisy, with motorcycles parked right by the entrance. The kitchen was useful for warming food, but bringing a guest back isn’t allowed. We stayed seven nights, and it’s a guesthouse, so don’t expect hotel service. Our room and fridge were both spacious, the bed was hard, and the door let sound through. The air conditioning worked, though I doubt it would manage in hotter weather. The shower drain was blocked; I reported it on day one, but it was never fixed, so I had to shower standing in pooled water. There was old soap scum on a wire shelf in the shower, which I took out because it was so gross. The towels were mismatched and frayed, but changed each day. The sheets were put on inside out three days in a row, and we watched the marks move to the other side of the bed. Staff blamed us for a small stain on the cover that looked faded from many washes, and warned they’d charge us if it happened again. The soap dispenser was refilled only after I brought it to reception. There was no shampoo until I complained a second time, when they gave me a small bottle. There’s a lot that needs improving. For some people it might be fine for a cheap stay, but I won’t recommend it.

The room was the worst I’ve stayed in in Phuket. Cleaning wasn’t done properly, and the staff were rude and didn’t know how to speak politely to customers.
