The bed was comfortable enough for me, since I'm used to hard ones, and the room was clean. But the price felt too high for what you get. Most rooms have a strong damp smell and visibly moist walls. I asked to change rooms three times before finding one where I felt I could breathe. In the morning I couldn't find anyone from the hotel to ask about checkout time. The neighborhood didn't feel safe, especially at night for a woman on her own. The area in front of the station is better.

The rooms are comfortable for the price, around 600 baht, and there are a few nearby markets where you can get an inexpensive bite to eat. It's a solid hotel, about five minutes from the train station. The water is warm and the AC works great.

We paid B490 for an air-conditioned room that felt like a cell, and there was no WiFi. We needed it, so after the password failed we insisted on speaking with the manager. He connected us through the receptionist's mobile, which meant we could use the internet in the reception area. We've stayed in much better hotels on this trip for a lot less. This place used to be good, but now it doesn't even offer free coffee. It just isn't good value anymore.

I've seen no ants 😂 Check-in was late, and there was no problem storing my bike. My room was very clean, tidy, and well looked after, and both the WiFi and air con worked fine. The staff don't speak English, but they're friendly and organized. It's obviously not a luxury mansion, just a very decent place to stay, especially if you're transiting overnight at Surat Thani Railway Station. I don't understand the negative reviews.

We were very comfortable here. The room was large and clean, with a hot shower and aircon, so it had everything we needed. It's not a touristy area, and the decor is a bit dated with a couple of cobwebs around. Handy for a late train arrival, too. We booked ahead so they knew to expect us.
