Grand Esie Service Apartment

I used to be a five-star hotel sports manager in Istanbul. After arriving in Pattaya, I changed hotels twice in one day: the first had a terrible reception and room, so I canceled and moved here. The room was clean and good, the receptionist was very polite and well educated, and the price I found on the Trivago app was excellent, around 350 or so. Check Trivago alongside Agoda and Booking to find the best rate. It even came up cheaper than Agoda when Trivago found it through Agoda.

Good.

I went away with my boyfriend, but the staff looked at me with such disdain, as if I were too young. They weren't welcoming and didn't even speak politely, like using "sir" or "madam." The service felt a bit poor. I've seen plenty of complaints, but no sign that anything has improved.

For 500 baht, the room had a five-foot bed, but the bathroom was dirty even after housekeeping had finished cleaning it, as the photo shows. I sprayed so much fabric softener that the smell became overpowering and irritating to my nose. There weren't any amenities in the room; coffee and hot water were set up outside, and the place closed very early. The listing mentioned a hair dryer, but the hotel said they didn't have one.
