I spent a week here and will miss it. The owner was wonderful: she arranged my preferred room when I arrived, lent me her old bicycle for the week, drove me to the station at 04.30, and helped me sort an online issue over WhatsApp when I extended my stay. The resort is a little outside town, but I got around a lot by bike. There’s good local food opposite and a big 7/11 up the road. The cleaning team kept providing everything I needed, and the young guy looking after the gardens and pool was always around to help. The gardens and huge pool were sparkling clean and inviting. My room was magnificent, with dark wood, a work table and chair, rattan chairs, and a veranda with benches and a table. I can’t say enough good things about the effort they put into making guests comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay, and it was great value for money. The room was clean and I had a great time in the swimming pool. Everyone on staff was kind and friendly, especially the young hotel owner. This was my second visit, and I’m looking forward to coming back.

The peaceful setting made it easy to unwind, and the service was lovely. We rented a motorcycle to explore town, which added to the fun. YAY coffee is just a five-minute walk away, and we had delicious breakfast and great coffee there in the morning.
