A quiet place with a lovely pool, and the rooms are spacious and nice. The owner is very kind and happy to help with anything you need.

The beach is stunning and really close by. I loved this little place, and both the owner and staff are so friendly. Can't wait to come back soon.

We came at the last minute and had some trouble with our reservation, but the family was more than happy to help us sort it out. Everyone was super cool, the accommodation was excellent, and the pool was a great spot to relax. Loved the whole stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through the area.

I can't recommend this accommodation. The area is quiet, but there was little to encourage us to stay and relax: no bar, no ice cream for sale, and we never saw anyone have a meal beyond breakfast. We often ate breakfast at the neighboring Dolphin Bay Hotel instead, and enjoyed spending the day by its spotless pool and grounds. Flies were a nuisance day and night, at the hotel and around the area, especially when trying to rest by the pool. The garden view from our room was blocked by the owner's dirty car parked outside. The grounds looked nothing like the pictures. The pool pump ran at night, never during the day, and I saw no water testing or chemicals used. The pool was only half-heartedly cleaned twice in two weeks, once by a guest. There were just four sunbeds, never wiped down; one had paw prints from the owner's lovely puppy. Some loungers were broken, and my partner had to fix one to use it. The hot tub was broken too. The pool table's cloth was torn, and the area around it needed a good sweep. Our room had several problems. Curtains in most rooms were broken and hanging down. I reported ours to Bram several times over ten days, but was only given two pegs to hold them shut. Guests in the next room said theirs had been broken before we arrived. The toilet seat was loose for seven days after I reported it, and was still wobbly when it was finally dealt with near the end of our stay. I had to clean the filthy glass terrace table myself, and bits of paper had been lying around and under the patio table since before we arrived. The terrace chairs were fair. Towels were very thin, hard, small and marked. We didn't get a hand towel until day ten, and only after asking Bram when the towels would be changed and the room cleaned. He said that should have happened daily. The mattress was as hard as a rock, and we both hurt all over after sleeping on it. It's the worst bed I've ever had. My partner had to defrost the iced-over fridge, which took all day. There was a tub of leftover ice cream inside, and we didn't feel comfortable keeping food in it. The shower head only trickled until I cleaned it. Guests in the neighboring room went out and bought a new shower head. The air conditioning and fan were good. Breakfast was hit or miss depending on what the maid chose to give us. The omelette was swimming in oil. The booking site listed great extras that weren't there: no coffee machine, only a kettle, nowhere to dry clothes, and no safety deposit box. Card payments weren't accepted, so you had to pay cash or by bank transfer. The owner talked about plans but didn't follow through, and was talking about building more rooms despite needing to sort out the existing ones first. Bram, the Dutch owner, was pleasant and approachable, and willing to give us a lift to a supermarket, but it felt like his heart wasn't in the place.
