Paknampran Foxtail Beach

A good spot for a relaxed night. There’s a nice pool in the middle of the hotel, and the food and owner were good.

Breakfast was delicious, especially the pork congee, and it was served later than at other places, so even slower guests had time to eat. The staff provided whatever we asked for, though it seemed to be festival time and there were very few of them. An elderly woman was handling everything herself. The rooms aren’t brand new, but they’re good value. The shower pressure was weak, though manageable. What bothered me was the small dogs in some rooms. The resort said they were kept in a separate area outside, but guests let them wander around the communal dining tables. They peed and pooped, barked, and even sat on the tables, which made the shared area feel unclean. This needs to be addressed, or guests should be given clearer instructions, since not everyone likes animals.

The room was generally good, and the breakfast was good too, but there are things that need attention. One electrical outlet was loose and looked unsafe. Service was average, and the front desk wasn’t very attentive. They provided towels, but forgot some, so we had to ask. There’s a cute dog on the property, though its barking made it impossible for us to get into the accommodation until we called the owner to catch it. It’s acceptable overall, but other areas could be improved.

The atmosphere was lovely, and the place felt private. It’s beautiful, affordable, and the owner is attentive and really kind. I’ll definitely come back.
