Pranberry Earth

Check Google Maps carefully on the way here, since you could end up in the wrong alley and it won’t connect to the right one. The place is quiet, which is nice, but there’s no soundproofing at all. From an upstairs room you can clearly hear people playing in the water below. There aren’t any activities, and the food is quite expensive, so I wouldn’t eat here. The café next door is pricey too, about Starbucks prices, but not as good for the money. Parking spaces match the number of rooms, but the popular café next door uses the same area and the resort doesn’t reserve spaces for guests, so an afternoon check-in might mean no spot. Don’t expect too much, it’s what you get for the price.

We had a really relaxing stay at Pranberry Earth. It’s quiet and romantic, a lovely fit for couples, and the room was clean and fresh. The staff were kind and helpful, and the cute cat named “Earth” made us even happier. We enjoyed our time there and recommend it.

We stayed three weeks in the mini earth house with two adults, one child, and a large dog. It worked well for a longer stay, with a washing machine and a kitchen with utensils for making light meals. I’m very satisfied with the stay overall. There weren’t many employees, but they helped reasonably well. With all our luggage to load into the car, I would have appreciated help carrying things in and out. I prefer not to use the A/C, but the windows have no screens, so mosquitoes and flies came inside. That made ventilation a problem.

The place has a charming location and a welcoming, homey feel. My main issue was the service. Some employees were fine, but others seemed to go through the motions, without much warmth or attentiveness. I understand that non-guests need to buy something to use the café area, but the way this was enforced felt off-putting. Even though I had stayed at the hotel for a night, an employee quickly came over and questioned whether I was a guest, without recognizing me first. I appreciate that they need to check, but a more tactful, welcoming approach would have felt much better. I’d stayed there a couple of months earlier, which made the interaction even more surprising.
