Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas

The villa was huge, and the staff were polite and helpful. They arranged a motorbike rental for us, which made getting around easier, and the location was convenient for Pranburi and nearby beaches. Breakfast was okay, though below what I’d expect from a five-star hotel. For around 6,000 THB a night, I didn’t feel it was good value. The property seems old and needs renovation and modernization. It didn’t feel cozy or like a five-star stay. Cleanliness was inconsistent, with debris on the floors, even in outdoor shower areas that we had to clean ourselves. The villa felt dated and poorly maintained. The furniture and bathroom equipment were worn, and several items seemed flimsy or outdated. The jacuzzi bath and showers looked old, and adjusting the showers was difficult. The private pool also showed visible wear and wasn’t very inviting. Despite the villa’s size, parts of it could still be seen by others, so it didn’t feel very private. It may suit someone whose main priority is space, but anyone expecting a modern, well-kept five-star experience will likely be disappointed.

The Thai breakfast was a real highlight for us: excellent, authentic flavors, not toned down for foreign tastes. The hotel is also close to a local night market, so it’s easy to try food and explore the area. Our room was very spacious and had a private pool, which made the stay feel special and relaxing. The hotel is thoughtfully designed, and the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. There are lots of trees and greenery, so mosquitoes can be around, especially in the evening. Bringing repellent, or having the hotel provide more mosquito control, might help. We had a lovely stay and would happily come back.

We were upgraded to a two-room villa with a pool, outdoor showers, and an outdoor bathtub for our few-day stay. Room service was quick, and the food was very nice. Breakfast was very good, with a nice range of Western and Thai dishes, and was served until 11 a.m.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s plenty of good local food nearby. The location is nice for biking, jogging, running, or walking by the peaceful sea. It’s a good place to rest, though the Duplex Villa furniture is quite old. The private pool was great for swimming at any hour. Breakfast had lots of choices, but I’d have liked tastier fruit.
