The location is amazing, with mellow surfing and relaxing days on the beach. We stayed for a couple of weeks two years ago, and the hosts were lovely and accommodating. While we were there, we found out we were having a baby boy. The owners went out of their way to help us navigate that news while we were on a long trip in Asia, and kept us at ease the whole time. It was a crazy but amazing experience. We hope to come back with our son soon and show him where we first learned he was joining us. Thanks for everything, you all have a wonderful place.

It’s such a pleasant place to unwind, and every now and then they have really fun parties. The host is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. One of the coolest bungalows on the island. Thanks so much, we love it soo 💖🥰

We spent a few days in L5 bungalow at the far southern end, right on the beach. The views were wonderful, the space inside was used well, and all we could hear were the waves. The interior could use a more polished design. The beds and cabinets are real wood but feel medieval, and the mattress is hard as a plywood board. White curtains, brighter minimalist furniture, and a bathroom that doesn’t look like the bungalows have been around since 1984 would help.

The fresh fish was cooked well, and the views from the first beachfront bungalow were perfect. This quiet, off-the-path resort is worth a longer stay if you want to relax and get away in nature. We rode scooters around the island and explored roads through a rubber plantation. The bungalows are remote and right on Ao Yai’s Long Beach, where the sea crashed onto shore every day. The location is fantastic, the beach stayed long and quiet, and the sunsets were gorgeous. It rained, but we didn’t mind. The staff were very friendly and made our stay special.
