Cede Boutique Beach Resort

The hotel’s only real plus is its location on what I think is the island’s most beautiful beach. At this price, about three times too expensive, it was the least inviting place on the beach. The room layout gives you no privacy, since the verandas face one another. Planting trees between the porches would help. One window in each room has a very thin curtain, so outside lights shine in all night. A bar behind the hotel apparently plays loud music until 2 am about every 10 days, and it makes sleeping impossible. Breakfast service was unbelievably slow. We were first to arrive and still waited 35 minutes for fruit and boiled rice. The public areas weren’t inviting either. The restaurant has a tin roof, it’s very dark, and the wooden floor looks ready to break at any moment.

We just used the sunbeds. It’s a nice place to laze around for a while, but there wasn’t service and there were lots of rules on cards hanging everywhere. Only one guy was doing bar service.

Manager Celi and her staff were the best part for us. They treated us like family, and we left already longing to return. Their hospitality made our wedding blessing on the beach more special than we could have imagined. We loved our stay so much that we left the next place we were headed to and came back. The rooms are large and luxurious, with incredibly comfortable beds. The restaurant and café make lovely food and drinks with care, and they’re excellent value for money. The photos don’t do the resort justice. It’s 100% the best resort and beach on koh phayam. Just book and stay as long as you can.

The rooms are spaced far enough apart to give decent privacy, and ours was spacious, with a comfortable bed and shower. The website photos aren’t overrated. The place is well maintained, breakfast is yummy, and the beach view is lovely. Service was lovely too, especially from K.Belle, who was attentive and helpful.
