The lobby and the hotel's condition disappointed me when I arrived. I had booked online without checking reviews or comparing other hotels. Still, the room was good enough for the price, and the staff behaved nicely. The service was good too, considering it was the cheapest hotel in the area.

Friendly, helpful staff and lots of good places to eat within a short walk. Nana Plaza and other downtown Bangkok spots are close by, and the U.S. Embassy is nearby too if you have official business. It's good value for the price, comfortable though far from luxurious. The hotel doesn't face a major street, so it can be tricky to find, even with GPS. For a budget visit to Bangkok, it's a decent place to start.

The location was great, especially for Muslims, with lots of halal food available and Nana BTS station very close. The air conditioning was noisy, and the TV had very few channels and a bad view.

The hotel itself was clean, and the staff were friendly. The air-con controls being up on the roof was a strange setup, but it wasn't a problem. There are hawkers hanging around the entrance, which isn't great, though the street food nearby is good.
