The deluxe room was clean, with a big bed, and they came in to clean every day. It wasn't super luxurious, but it was nice. The owner and staff were super friendly, which was a pleasant surprise after I'd read some mixed reviews. I liked the location too. Restaurants inland are about a 15-minute walk away, and there are beach bars nearby. You're not right in the thick of things, so it feels more secluded. The property was quiet, in a good way. Definitely not a party spot.

The owner was incredibly kind, and I really don't understand the negative comments here. Prices were fair and the location was lovely. Koh Phayam does seem to attract a few too many tourists who act like royalty.

The staff were nice and the location was good, but that was about all I liked. There was no hot water, so every shower was cold. It was a disaster. I wouldn't recommend the place or come back, though to be fair, I wouldn't visit the island again either.

The resort's people were great hosts the whole time we were there. We stayed four nights over the busy Christmas and New Year period, and the room was reasonably priced for peak season. Breakfast was good, and I had no complaints about the food's taste.

Somewhere in the way the owner treats you, you get the sense they're seeing a dollar sign. This is definitely one of those places. Small gestures matter, and the owner needs to learn that. It's no coincidence that this place still has rooms when the rest of the beach is completely booked.
