We'd originally booked a different resort down the beach, but when we got there, it was being renovated. They arranged a move to Heaven Beach Resort, and the switch went smoothly. We were given a beachfront bungalow, with a roomy bedroom and a beautiful bathroom. It even had hot water and good air conditioning. Since we visited in low season, it was windier and we didn't need the AC as much as we might have in high season. The staff were kind and helpful with our requests, and the spot right on the beach is great. I had a brilliant stay and would like to come back when the weather's warmer and sunnier in high season.

Everyone was so nice, and the rooms were too. If you get an ocean-facing view, it's really lovely. The dragon fruit juice is a must-have! There were also two sweet dogs relaxing on the beach. One would wait politely in front of our path whenever we walked by and ask for water. They were friendly and happy to be petted 💞

The bungalows look modern and sit right on the beach, and the area is pleasant, though quiet. We found it suited couples more than groups of friends. There were nicer bungalows at the next beach up for a much better price. The service let us down. We hired two bikes, but one was broken and couldn't be ridden. We returned them, yet at checkout they still expected the full day's rental fee. There was nowhere to set soap or shampoo in the shower, so I dropped a bottle of body wash while trying to reach it. They charged us 150 baht to replace it. There was also hair left in the shower from previous guests.

We asked to cancel just five hours after booking because the earthquake meant we couldn't come, but nobody replied to any of our messages. They kept the payment for the whole stay. I could understand being charged for the first night, but not the entire booking. Even some communication would have been more professional.
