Mrs. Swan Hotel

Ships moving slowly down the river, with Myanmar across the water, made for a lovely view from the hotel. I really enjoyed that peaceful backdrop during my stay at Mrs. Swan Hotel in Ranong. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable, with tasteful decor that made it feel cozy. The restaurant next door was decent. I liked the meal overall, though the crabs were more cooked than I prefer. The location and rooms make Mrs. Swan Hotel a place I’d recommend to people visiting Ranong.

A huge cargo ship spent the afternoon beside the pool unloading diggers. It was so noisy, and the whole thing wasn’t pleasant.

The food tasted really good, and the service was outstanding. The hotel itself is very good too, with beautiful rooms and lovely surroundings. Thanks for everything 😀

I’ve been coming in and out of Ranong for the past year and had wanted to try staying at Mrs Swan. Today I came as a walk-in guest. No one was at reception for a long time, then a woman finally showed up and simply quoted 2500 baht. She seemed to expect me to leave because the rate was so high. I accepted, despite feeling disrespected. The check-in was disrespectful throughout, which I didn’t expect from a hospitality business. Checking out in the morning was torture too. I’ve had my experience. Thank you.
