My Room

The rooms are older and very basic, but the location is good. There’s a 300 baht deposit for the room keys. I’m giving it only four stars because it’s affordable.

The reception staff had a bad tone, and the service here is a real problem. They wouldn’t even open the main front door so customers could leave. Is that really the policy, to lock customers inside the building? What a shame.

We stayed for a week and would recommend it. The rooms feel safe and comfortable, with no loud noise coming through. Everything looks new, and the price is good. The setup is simple: our room had a half-size fridge, TV, air conditioning, bathroom and shower, and a balcony. The beds are still the hard Thai style. There are coin-operated washing machines too.

After coming here for more than five years, it’s disappointing to see how much the place has slipped. I’ve been in the long-term block for three months, and the lift still hasn’t been cleaned once. The rooms need fresh paint, and the couch in mine must be over ten years old and needs replacing. I hope they turn things around, but with more and newer options in Ratchaburi, I’ll probably look elsewhere for next winter. Maybe new management could sort it out.
